Taking a break, Tide Pods on food stamps, and my three favorite types of porn

Dear Diary,
My day can be summed up in one word: Skyrim. Anne and I played this game nearly all day, and even as I write this entry, we’re talking about it. There’s something to be said about synergy, and how playing a game alongside someone can be much more invigorating and interesting than playing by yourself. It almost makes me understand the whole MMO thing (which I briefly experimented with through World of Warcraft). Of course, maybe her being one of my best friends has something to do with that too.
I dunno.
Regardless, the reason we played so much was that I need a small break from writing. My mind is just refusing to focus on anything author related until I give it a vacation, like it’s holding my creativity hostage or something. This usually only lasts a few days, but we’ll see. If anything, I’ve learned not to rush things like this, so…
In other news: a friend of mine tried to buy some Tide Pods on her food stamps last night. 😂 As a joke. The cashier apparently looked extremely confused and god, I wish I could have been there! The things I miss out on being a hermit. So sad.
Oh! I posted something revealing on Patreon about myself earlier today, something I’ve never told anyone else before: “My Three Favorite Types of Porn.” You can read it here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/17140861. It was a very intimate post for me… like most of the things I’ve put on Patreon so far. It’s an excellent outlet for stuff like that. And a good reward for the people that support me. It’s like sharing my dream with them in a sense, you know?
Anyway.
Anne’s whining at me to get off this entry and play some more Skyrim with her, and since I’m her friend, I have to oblige. The things I do for friendship… 🙃
